Mountain Construction first worked for this historic private university in 1994. Over the years, we completed numerous new and renovation projects. UPS returned to Mountain for two renovation projects to be completed during the 2008 summer break.
Historic Jones and Howarth Halls required extensive space reconfigurations for faculty and staff offices.
The LEED Student House was a pilot project to remodel one of the many university-owned houses with the intent of meeting U.S. Green Building Council LEED standards. It was planned so that students living in the house would score its livability, as well as monitor its energy and water usage. The project was designed to provide lessons to be employed in future remodeling of university-owned housing.
This house, which is certified LEED Gold, is now known at UPS as the Live Green House.
