WPUDA is a private, non-profit association whose members are Washington State’s 28 community-owned public utilities which provide electricity, water, sewer, and broadband telecommunications to over 1.7 million customers.

The first building in Washington to be rated LEED® Platinum by the U.S. Green Building Council, the building features the largest roof-top solar array in Washington at the time of completion in 2007.

Aesthetically the design balances the need for a professional office appearance while staying in context with the adjacent historic buildings. This project demonstrates WPUDA’s commitment to conservation, and exemplifies both excellent sustainable design practices, and superb design-build teamwork.
