Mountain Construction was hired to build a new student recreation center for this small, private university. The building houses a multipurpose court and sports field house with an elevated indoor track, a 2-story fitness wing including weight and cardio machine rooms, and a group fitness studio.

The structure is a factory-engineered steel building system with masonry and a variety of metal claddings. The project achieved basic LEED certification.

Delivered under a negotiated design-build contract, this budget-driven project was awarded as the result of a competitive RFQ/interview process. Our scope included the design and construction of the building and site improvements.
