Since 1976, Marine Industries NW has been recognized by the marine industry as a problem-solving yard, offering innovative, practical solutions in a timely manner. They tackle difficult vessel conversion and repair projects, averaging 100 projects per year for private operators, Washington State Ferries and the US Navy and Coast Guard.

Their office/shop building replaced aging and obsolete facilities. The first floor houses a fabrication shop with a 10-ton overhead bridge crane. An elevator leads to the second-floor management and administrative offices. Phone and mechanical rooms and ample employee lunch/locker facilities are also located upstairs.
