This creative project was a collaboration between a private 4-year university and an experienced developer/ development manager. The project was designed to revitalize the commercial area surrounding the school and to provide a connection between the campus and the commercial highway corridor.

Pacific Lutheran University owned the land and moved the PLU Bookstore and Northwest and Scandinavian Gift Shop to the project as the anchor tenant. Lorig leased the property from PLU and with plans to develop the project as an income property. A little over half the total floor area was planned for lease to a variety of retail tenants.

Mountain Construction was selected for the project from a short-list of contractors in a process that combined a proposal/qualifications submittal and interview.
