Mountain Construction Awarded Kopachuck State Park Renovation Project

Mountain Construction was honored to be chosen to take on Kopachuck State Park’s long-awaited makeover. The Gig Harbor park will tentatively close for over a year beginning on June 3rd. The focus of the project will be transitioning the park from being campground centered to day-use-only. The project is expected to be completed by midsummer 2025.

The master plan for the park renovation includes a new welcome center, multipurpose event space for weddings, school groups, and community gatherings. The updates will also include an ADA compliant picnic area, amphitheater, and playground. Additionally, new water, sewer, and storm-water management systems will be  added.

Mountain is thrilled to help expand access to this beautiful park for the local community and generations to come.
