WPUDA Headquarters Seeks LEED® Platinum

PUD Association Headquarters Enhances Conservation Leadership

Winner of the AGC 2008 Build Washington Award in the Green Building Category

In October 2007, Mountain Construction completed the first LEED® NC (new construction) Platinum-certified building in Washington State.

Among numerous green building features, the building has, at the time of completion, the largest roof-mounted photovoltaic (solar power) array in Washington, with 159 photovoltaic (solar power) panels with a total area of 2,800 sf and total power capacity of 34 kilowatts.  The array is projected to generate 50% of the building's power requirements.
