The Mountain Construction family of companies is dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we do business. We do this in the form of cash and in-kind contributions.

As any company or family, Mountain Construction’s capacity for community giving is limited and changes with financial circumstances and economic conditions. To be a good steward of our capacity for giving, the company has established guidelines and procedures for giving.

Our Community Committee is an employee group advising company Owners on charitable giving. The committee reviews contribution requests and expenditures to date.

Requests must be in writing and fit the following criteria:

Most gifts are between $50 and $500. A few major gifts are considered by the Community Committee and company owners in a typical year, with a limit of $2,500 per organization per year.

The company may occasionally elect to waive any of these criteria, and not all requests meeting these criteria will be granted. All grants are solely at the discretion of Mountain Construction. Employees, clients and vendors are encouraged to suggest or refer their favorite charities. 

Small sponsorship of amateur sport teams, school programs and educational events not registered as non-profit organizations will be considered when requested by a employee, client, vendor or family member who are participating.
